Sage Stallone Cause Of Death: Heart Attack

Sage Stallone's cause of death has undoubtedly been the subject of scrutiny and investigation since he was found dead in his home on July 13, but now celebrity website TMZ has obtained the L.A. County Coroner's report which claims that Sage Stallone, 36,  died from a heart attack.





Coroner Chief Craig Harvey revealed to the "Los Angeles Times" that Stallone died of natural causes and the toxicology test came back "negative except for a sub-therapeutic level of hydrocodone," though the drug played no role in his passing.

According to Harvey, Sage was a heavy smoker and the habit likely helped contribute to his death, as smoking is one of the chief causes of heart disease due to elevated blood pressure, increasing the risk of clots.

It has to be noted that in the days following his death, it had been reported that Stallone likely died of a drug overdose, with TMZ reporting that Sage lived like a hermit in the weeks leading up to his death and stating his room was filled with empty beer cans and more than "60 gigantic empty prescription bottles", including a prescription for Vicodin.

Those reports were vehemently contested by Sage's lawyer and longtime friend George Braunstein, who insisted that Sage was happy and planning to tie the knot with his girlfriend shortly before he passed away. In fact, Braunstein pointed out that his client didn't even drink.

With so much speculation surrounding Sage's death, his father, Sylvester Stallone, made a plea to be left alone to grieve in peace:

"This agonizing loss will be felt for the rest of our lives. Sage is our first child and the center of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son's memory and soul left in peace","Sylvester Stallone, 66, said in a statement.

It has to be mentioned that Sage was laid to rest on July 21. The private memorial took place at the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Brentwood, with the elder Stallone, wife Jennifer Flavin and brother Frank Stallone present.

Steve Franken Dead

Steve Franken is dead. The actor, who starred in "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis," passed away on Friday after a cancer battle. Franken was 80-years-old at the time of his death in Los Angeles.


Thursday afternoon, the "Los Angeles Times" reported the death of Steve Franken, whose career spanned over five decades.

It has to be noted that the veteran actor replaced Warren Beatty, who starred in the role of the show's original wealthy child, "Milton Armitage".

Sources claim that Beatty wanted to do feature-films and never returned to "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis".




Steve Franken was obviously very lucky because he was in the right place at the right time.

While the actor is famous for his role in the '60s situation comedy, he made as well appearances  in "Bewitched", "The Party", "The Missouri Breaks", "Hardly Working", "The Americanization of Emily" and "Which Way to the Front?"

It has to be mentioned that Franken's wife, Jean, revealed that Steve loved acting so much that in spite of undergoing cancer chemotherapy treatments, giving him another eight months of life, he auditioned for television, theater and movie roles.







Steve Franken's memorial services are scheduled for 2 in the afternoon September 22 in West Los Angeles. It's unclear if the funeral is open to the public.
