They have both divorced from their husbands in recent years so there's no doubt that Courtney Cox and Demi Moore have many things in common.
And it seems that Cox may well be playing a supporting role to Moore as the pair were spotted leaving the same "self-help" building in LA earlier today.
Demi, 49, returned from rehab earlier this month, but sources have claimed she is struggling to recover from her split from ex husband Ashton Kutcher.
Given that Courtney has gone through a marriage breakdown she might well be giving advice to Moore , who has been struggling since she split from Ashton in the wake of allegations he cheated on her late last year.
But while she appears healthier after her stint in rehab Demi is said to be still struggling from loosing Ahston, who is rumored to be dating Lorene Scafaria.
One friend told Grazia magazine: "Demi definitely isn't over him yet. Her mood right now relies solely on Ashton and how responsive he is to her messages and phone calls.
"If he doesn't message her back for a couple of hours or seems distant in a text, she starts freaking out. While she won't admit it, she is still completely infatuated with him and it's clear she wants him back."
Demi is also said to have been thrown off after Ashton visited her in rehab.
The friend added: "Demi is her own worst enemy, because she was doing great in rehab until Ashton came to visit her.
"He didn't actually make it down until a couple of weeks ago, after promising to go numerous times before that. As everyone expected, his visit really threw her off and she went from being relatively calm to very anxious and edgy."
While Courtney split from her husband David Arquette in 2010 she remains close to the actor.
However Cox is said to be feeling the loss of one of her "Friends" , Jennifer Aniston.
Cox has reportedly seen less of her ex best buddy since getting together with her boyfriend Justin Theroux.
A source told this Grazia magazine recently: "Jennifer's priorities have obviously changed since meeting Justin."
"But Courtney must feel that Jen has completely forgotten what it's like to be the single girl and that will hurt given how supportive she and David were to Jen over the years."
